Returns and Refunds

We generally do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the item is faulty, defective, or if there was an error on our part. However, we aim to resolve any issues fairly.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately at hello@stackrecords.co.nz with your order number and details. We will promptly assist you in resolving the issue.

Order Errors

If we made an error with your order (e.g., wrong item sent), please notify us promptly at hello@stackrecords.co.nz. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent or provide a refund.

Cancellations

Once an order has been processed and shipped, cancellations cannot be accepted. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned or refunded, including gift cards.

Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at hello@stackrecords.co.nz within 30 days of receiving your order to request a return authorisation.

  2. Provide your order number, item details, and reason for the return, including photos if applicable.

  3. Once approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Refund Process

Upon receiving and inspecting your return:

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original method of payment.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Contact us at hello@stackrecords.co.nz for assistance with exchanges.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. If the gift wasn’t marked as such, the refund goes to the gift giver.

Shipping

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Lost or Damaged Packages

We are not liable for lost or damaged packages during shipping. Please contact us immediately if your order arrives damaged.

Stack Points

To start accumulating points with Stack Points, you need to sign up on our site. Once you sign up, you’ll receive an instant bonus of 10 points to kickstart your rewards journey. From there, you’ll earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Collect 100 points and redeem them for a $10 discount on your next purchase. Points are cumulative, so you can save them up for even bigger rewards.

SHIPPING

Shipping Tamaki (Auckland): Orders over $100 NZD qualify for free shipping. For orders under $100 NZD, a flat rate of $5 NZD applies.

Nationwide Shipping Aoteroa (New Zealand): Orders over $100 NZD qualify for free shipping nationwide. For orders under $100 NZD, a flat rate of $10 NZD applies.

​

Shipping Carrier: All shipments within New Zealand are handled by NZ Post, with delivery typically taking 3-5 business days.

​

Shipping Schedule: Please note that orders are processed and shipped on business days only. We do not ship on weekends or public holidays. Keep an eye on your email for shipping updates.

Order Fulfilment: In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we will promptly notify you. You will have the option to cancel your order and receive a refund.

​

Undeliverable Orders: If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to pick up from a depot, you will be responsible for the re-shipping costs.

Address Accuracy: Ensure that your delivery address is accurate during checkout. We cannot be held responsible for orders lost or damaged during transit, but we strive to ensure safe and timely delivery.
